The Welches Parent Teacher Community Organization (WPTCO) is a passionate and engaged group of parents, teachers, and community members dedicated to enhancing the educational experience for approximately 300 K-8 students at Welches Schools. Who We Are

The WPTCO is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, supporting about 300 K-8 students at Welches Schools. Our board consists of parent volunteers and our school principal as voting members. Committee + chair positions dedicated to our various events and fundraisers throughout the year are available!

What We Do

All WPTCO funds raised are used to fill gaps in the current school budget with the purchase of new technology, classroom supplies and resources requested by teachers and staff. We also fund class field trips, special events, guest speakers, arts programs and positive behavior incentives.

Supported Events

We host family-friendly events that bring like our community movie nights, annual auction fundraiser, host school events including the annual harvest festival, middles school dances, book fairs, field day, and teacher & staff appreciation, as well as student incentives like our Thank You Ticket Store and so much more!

How to Get Involved

Join us for our community meetings on the last Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm in the Elementary School Library, volunteer at a fundraising event, or lend us some of your specialized skills; we're always looking for folks who have accounting, marketing, social media, web-design, and grant-writing experience!
