Get Ready for the 2024 Welches Rainbow Run!
We are thrilled to announce our annual 2024 Welches Rainbow Run, taking place on Friday, September 27th, 2024! This colorful and fun-filled event brings together the entire Welches community to raise essential funds for Welches Schools through the Welches Parent Teacher Community Organization (WPTCO).
How It Works:
On the day of the event, students will show their school spirit and proudly represent their classes by wearing colors of the rainbow while running to raise money for important school programs and activities. Each student will have 30 minutes to complete as many laps as possible, with each lap contributing directly to our fundraising efforts for Welches Schools.
How You Can Help:
We invite parents, guardians, family, friends, and community members to join us in supporting our students! You can get involved by:
Making a flat donation in honor of a Welches student
Pledging per lap, where your donation is based on how many laps your student completes
Volunteering at the event (please complete a background check through Visitor Aware as soon as possible in order to be eligible to volunteer. Get more information about volunteering for the event & sign up here.)
Donations can be made directly to students via cash or check, or conveniently online through this fundraising website. Please remember to include the student's name when donating by check, and make checks payable to "Welches PTCO."
Why It Matters:
Last year's Rainbow Run raised over $13,000 for Welches Schools, and we had an amazing time in the process! This unique fundraiser allows the WPTCO to transfer all proceeds (minus event costs) directly to Welches Schools for immediate use at their discretion. Every dollar raised supports programs and activities that make a difference for our students.

Sponsorship is simple and tax-deductible. Whether you choose to make a flat donation or pledge per lap, your contribution helps us achieve our fundraising goals. After the event, we'll calculate each student's total laps and finalize your pledge, sending you a receipt via email.
